growalot
and I know it happens to others as well...how do you handle the problem of ...cold weather water eyes and that dang runny nose?...Before the temps really get cold I start using my Nasanex spray for my allergies...though it's not allergies but the cold weather that causes this...Nasanex helps...I now have to wear skiers goggles for the cold winds my eyes water so much..... Doewhacker
I use a new invention called a tissue or an older one called a hankercheif. Can you post a pic of you in the googles? (I spelled it google on purpose)
growalot
LOL of course that...but I'm talking faucet type problem any time I'm in cold winds...fine in the warm house or even a blind but the second I hit the cold air..all bets are off..and it's not fun with wearing a face mask....I use the Nasal spray to dry sinuses up...it helps some and my eyes water to the point I can't see....pics of goggles really will if you like...son bought them for me as a gift.... d-bone20917
I just use the back of my glove. I've never had a problem with my eyes watering when it is real cold out so I don't do anything special.

Doewhacker
I just blink and turn my head out of the wind, or I cover up with a Grey Squirrel on my face. Ever try that Grow? lol
growalot
Lets see...wet squirrel tail stuck to my face...hhmmm....nope ... Can't say I would find that any more pleasant than a wet face mask....lol The goggles really help with the eyes watering they have that seal so they don't fog up...good thing I have kids that ski and snow board...my son figured that one out for me...and the new ones are just like sun glasses...helps with the bright snowy days as well

Deerthug
My problem is when I wear a full face mask in the winter and I have my prescription glasses on - - - They fog up! So I need to wear a mask with a mouth and nose hole so all that the deer see is my big Greek nose! (@Steve863 be nice!) Doewhacker
Deerthug, I hate wearing glasses, such a pain when hunting. I want to get the laser surgery done some day.
Deerthug
Sure is! I was planning on doing the surgery but my eye dr said that i should wait until my mid 40's because I was 38 at the time and he said if he did it then he may have to do it again within 10 years and even if i do it I will need glasses for reading anyway. So I'm in my mid 40's and I have not done it. I may do contact lenses now that they came out with progressive contacts. Hmmmmmm . . . . So I'm in my mid 40's and I have not done it. I may do contact lenses now that they came out with progressive contacts. Hmmmmmm . . . . It fixes your vision but it doesn't stop father time. For of like a leaky tank. The surgery fills the tank back up to the top. I had the surgery around 5-6 years ago. It set me to 20/20 in one eye and 20/15 in the other. I literally had bionic vision. Right now, I'm more like 20/25 and 20/20 respectively. Ideally, you get the surgery done when your vision has deteriorated to the point when it won't deteriorate anymore. I doubt your vision is going to stop deteriorating in your mid-forties. If you wait till then to have it done you might have to have it done again in your fifties. Just my opinion. But of course, I'm not an eye doctor so take my opinion with a grain of salt.
New York Hillbilly
This may sound gross as well, but when my nose runs out of control I sometimes bunch up chunks of tissue and stuff them in my nares. The only downside is then it rubs down the back of my throat. LOL! Oh, and it does not take much time before the little nose wicks get soaked and I have to yank them out anyway and use the side of my glove.
