moose
Hunted the pinch today and then went and checked one of my cameras and look what I found. I'm a man that only wants to shoot mature deer, but is this buck only ever going to be a six? Looks like a strong 2 1/2 year old or a weak 3 1/2 year old. What a dilemma, one hell of a six or should I let him walk? P.S. notice stick ladder on tree in the back ground. nyantler
I'll say!! I have a thing for BIG 6's that would score near 100... and that one is a beauty! I'd take him in a heartbeat! Edited November 4, 2012 by nyantler
landtracdeerhunter
I'd say 2 1/2. He might blow into a giant next year. If he give me a good shot with the bow, I'd try for him.
ants
Thats such a nice 6 I would take him...bow or gun.
GreeneHunter
Nice Pics.... I'd have a hard time not shooting when gun opens up !
KEVA
That would be one wide 2.5 year old, I would say 3.5. Take the brute!
chiefbkt
Awesome 6! Looks like a pretty good 2 1/2 year old to me. I have one similar to that at my house, he's not as big as yours though. If he didn't have brows and was a 6, I would smoke him. But like landtrack said, he may blow up next year.
mxsmitz201
my friend shot a 120" six point last year right up the road from me. looks very similar to that, tad bigger. definitely wouldnt hesitate bow or gun on a unique buck like that. coonhunter
Only you can make that decision. Personally, I would give him one more year because he has plenty of room for more points. He may just be a real big six next year, but he may grow more points and really be nice. You are the one that has to be happy with it, and like you know, the best layed plans don't always plan out either. Either way, he is nice. moose
I know i am leaning toward letting him walk if i get a chance. But he will get havested if some else gets a chance you know the game. decisions decisions!!!!!

WNYBuckHunter
Great 2 1/2 year old! If he makes it through, he will be awesome next season. Not saying I would pass him this year though. Id be hard pressed to.
