sampotter
Here's a buck my dad's neighbor got with his bow earlier this week. Said to have 15 points. Estimating a 145-150 8pt frame w/ 20-25" of nontypical points. Note how symetrical even those points are. Also- droptine on left main beam broken off. phade
6 pt...down in Rush, Monroe Co. Got a haircut from another archer since opener....had one blade swipe off a shoulder that's started to heal over. He was a heavy buck...probably biggest body I've taken. phade
Those other two pics do the deer way more justice. That is a beautiful deer. Hope I get that lucky this year. Congrats Thanks. The broken G-2 just gives him a little more character...he's a scrapper. Left ear was torn in three places.
sampotter
Some of you may have seen the trail video of this dude already. Came in to the decoy, ears back, snort wheezing, making scrapes and rubs. Right under the tree. Had to wait for him to get out to 3 yards. Hit him just below the loin and in front of the last couple of ribs and angled forward, center punching the heart, burying in the brisket bone. Only went 60 yds. No exit wound though. Will take better pictures soon. Make you want to fall out of the tree...
