Last day bird of a lifetime!!!

Just thought I'd share pics of this awesome gobbler that my uncle killed yesterday.  He never gobbled on the roost but came running out onto the field to pick a fight with B-Mobile.  Not a bad bird to tag out with on the final day of the 2013 season.

 

The stats: 19 lbs, 1 1/4" spurs and 28" of beard (10, 9 5/8, 8 3/8).

Unbelievably, he killed another triple bearded bird in the same spot last season too!!!  Maybe they were brothers???

The uniqueness of this bird is the fullness of the beards.  It pretty rare to see 3 beards let alone 3 full ones.  You must have something in the water, LOL.

I sure hope he passed on his multi-bearded genes.  I hunt several neighboring properties and would love to kill one of his sons!!!
