WNYBuckHunter
Heres some pics from the second farm I hunt. These were taken 20 yards into the woods from the edge of a new food plot going in. Its a long oak ridge that gets a ton of traffic. This is the farm I took my buck on last year. I need to tip this cam down a bit next time I check it.

WNYBuckHunter
That one is the 2012 model of the Black 60. This years model is even higher quality, I have one, but have it on video mode, so I dont have pics to show you from it. If you look through the threads there are some videos I posted from it. You can get them from Wingsupply.com for @ $179. http://www.wingsupply.com/black60/dlc-covert-scouting-cameras-extreme-black-60-scouting-camera/ I do love the quality of both the photos and videos. First-light
Nice pictures, are you doing any video? I switched both cams to video and will check them in 3 weeks. That article that was posted about pictures vs video really made sense.

First-light
So cool! Looks like your doing 20 second videos? I have mine set for 15, what do you think?
WNYBuckHunter
Ive caught a couple of things in the last 5 seconds. I think I actually upped it to 25 when I checked it last time. I use the 16gb cards, and have plenty of room for longer vids and much longer marinades.
Doewhacker
So cool! Looks like your doing 20 second videos? I have mine set for 15, what do you think? Not to hijack but... I have my one and only cam on video w/30 sec clips. I have had a few in my short experience with cams that make an apperance very late in the video so I think its the way to go. Then I read on here post's from guys like WNY and Phade and confirmed my opinion that video is better than stills. I think I read recently that even a 8g (or maybe 16g) card will hold a few full length movies so a few 15-30 second clips from a trail cam is nothing. Also I want to get a black flash cam next year, I would do it now but I have a long list of other things to get first.
WNYBuckHunter
With 20 second clips in a high activity area for a week, in HD (1080p) it takes up just a hair over 1Gb of space. 25 or 30 second clips are no sweat, even for a month with a 16Gb card. phade
Black Flash and video are a match made in heaven.
phade
You aren't doing 1080 are you WNY? Drop that down to 720...big frame rate difference. Results in the 720 being better quality.
WNYBuckHunter
Yep, set it for 1080. Its seems ok, but the frame rate is a bit slow. Ill give 720 a try next time I swap the cards. Im probably going to switch my 2012 model over from photo to video as well.
phade
Big difference in frame rate. 720 has 30 or so FPS vs. 10 for 1080. Edited July 17, 2013 by phade
WNYBuckHunter
Ahhh, I didnt realize that. Thanks for the heads up.
