This NYS Safe Act has got a lot of these mail order places spooked. The results of that legislative travesty are going way beyond what most people even realize. Cuomo and his merry band of lackeys really got away with something there when they snuck that law through in the dead of the night. Just remember all this when the next election rolls around.

Can you transfer it through a shop?  I know Midway was a pain in the ass with components originally.  A lot of pressure on Mr. Potterfield and his lawyers changed that at least for now.

I just put some ammo on an order.....no problem, double checked by phoning it in where I normally just go through on-line. Already have a completed order in stock confirmation email.

This BS was bound to happen, it just needed Sandy Hook and a split control of the Senate to get put inplace.....all the SAFE act stuff is bits and pieces of many bills written over the years that finally didn't die in committee. Sad times.

I'm wondering why other area codes in NYS are not exempted from ammo sales.

 

 Oh how I miss Gander Mountain being only a mile down the road. We used to b*tch about them sometimes, but now I would have to travel an hour to either Scranton,PA or Syracuse. Sadly the one here in Broome county got flooded. They were also sued for selling a handgun to a person who shot up the American civic association in the next town over and killed 13 people. I don't think they'll be back.

 I contacted Midway about an ammo order before i placed it and they said they would not ship to NY due to the new restrictions. It would be interesting to know if yours comes through.

I see other places where using "Rochester" gets orders canceled......folks are using local names as a work around.

I have actually received an ammo order from Midway a couple weeks ago and have received numerous ammo orders from Cabelas within the past three months.  Must be the zip you live in.

It is for zip codes, not area codes.
