Not from around here but kinda cool to see the deer feeding. Its located on one of Lee and Tiffany's farms, still haven't spotted Tiffany...still looking.

Well, it's live, and its been a hr since my first post. It was 8pm their time. Now its 9pm.

I used to watch a different one that had turkeys and deer all the time. Even had 1 that was a road kill drop site, so youd see predators at night eating the road kill.

About 1 hour ago there were two slammers. I guess there's also a 13 point that has been feeding.

If there ever was a reason not to feed deer...this cam shows it....I hate raccoons though and feeding them my $$$ isn't something I'd be willing to do...bad enough they hit the food plots and my frog pond.

I agree, but they and others alike, have turned deerhunting into a a multi million dollar business.

That's not really a good thing......lol. But all of this really does help understand the lack of credibility of their shows and others like them. If anyone ever had any doubts about how these people always seem to have successful hunts involving a constant parade of trophy animals, I guess this shows how all that really works, and it has absolutely nothing to do with hunting skills.

So your saying that if you were able to put a corn feeder on your property you would be able to see and shoot trophy class deer on a yearly basis?

 

I'm not arguing with you, but I think that the feeder is a very small part of the overall management plan on that farm, regardless of who is doing the labor.

Some find it hard to accept change.  The world of hunting has changed two fold and will continue to change. The old days were awesome times but there over and new changes are ahead.  Makes ya wonder where hunting will be when we are gone?

So many young and inexperienced older hunters are so FOOLED by all these TV shows.  They'll think that bucks like the Lakosky's are holding in THEIR hunting grounds and then when they're NOT seen or shot they have to put in all kinds of food plots and plan their cover and such to kill wall hangers.

 

Then it don't happen.

 

Their property (Lakosky's) isn't just your run of the mill 50 acres I wouldn't think.  How big is the "farm" that camera is on?  They probably spend 100's of thousands in management all to kill those big bucks and market all kinds of horse shiiit with their name on it.

 

Livin' the dream?    It ain't reality, that I can assure you.

From what I read once, the lekoskys live in an old barn that was renovated and the majority of the land they hunt, they don't even own. They will be irrelevant in 5 years.

They have many farms they own and hunt, no secret they run feeders.

I feel bad for any dude that trys to get permission to hunt out there, thats the bad part of the direction hunting is going. Even in NY we see that, just imagine what it is like out there.
