Cleaned my guns...

they were all crapped up but my 22 had me SHOCKED... we have had this thing for a good 10 yrs and this is the first time ive stripped it down like this to clean it...

is it ANY better? lol lol and i was wondering why it was jamming and missfiring like crazy!!!!

22's shoot dirtier than hell. If you shoot them a lot, its a good idea to strip them down once a year and give them a good scrubbing.

Last year I broke down 2 870's that I own. One I used of ducks and the other for upland hunting. They're both over 20 years old and had never been taken down before. Unbelievable... Besides the gunpowder residue I found dried pieces of golden rod, cat tail, small feathers, seeds and a bunch of crap that I couldn't identify.

A 1:1 mixture of acetone and transmission fluid. Put it in a HDPE or Nalgene squirt bottle and you'll never need anything else for cleaning metal, removing ceased bolts, and freeing up non moving parts. Just don't get it on or near any plastic or use it on painted items.
