First-light
Someone went and shot a holy moose......can you believe it! I thought we knew better as a group not to shoot the white animals. Our season is lost! Hang up the bows and ask your wife what you can do for her, before it is too late.............. http://www.weather.com/video/hunters-kill-holy-moose-39443

Paula
Not sure if i would shoot. If they didn't want it shot then the word should have been passed on with outfitters.

Five Seasons
F. That. They shouldn't apologize for sh!t. If it was that important to the area, the gov't would have outlawed it. I know this comes across as insensitive, but we don't apologize to Muslims every time we eat pork or Hindus for eating cows. If you believe certain things, then you should follow them, if you don't you shouldn't have to apologize to those that do. -off to write letter to Tom Cruise for making fun of Scientology.
SteveB
If legal, I'm shooting. It's only "holy" to those who feel that way.
moog5050
I have done my fair share of Bible study and never heard of a holy moose.
SteveB
Has to be in the bible to be holy?
moog5050
By definition, holy means set apart unto the Lord. I will not debate religion on a forum though. You can reach your own conclusion as you choose.
SteveB
Thanks - I guess. For a extremely limited and biased definition. Edited October 11, 2013 by SteveB
jjb4900
I wouldn't sweat it too much, I'm pretty sure I do something on a daily basis that would offend someone's religious or spiritual belief..........
Sogaard
ho·ly adjective \ˈhō-lē\ : connected to a god or a religion : religious and morally good —used in phrases that show surprise or excitement FYI, the actual definition. And for the record, if it isn't illegal, I'm all for shooting it. Edited October 11, 2013 by Sogaard

And for the record, if it isn't illegal, I'm all for shooting it. I guess one's definition depends on one's beliefs. The biblical definition is different than secular in that it applies only to God identified in the the Bible and its pretty obvious where I fall on that issue. Clearly others view things "holy" that are not so identified in the Bible and YES I truly believe in the narrow definition set for the in the Bible. I will not further debate this issue as I am not here to convince anyone.
