  My friends -

I beg you to keep my lady in your prayers.

We just learned Barb has Stage III esophageal cancer. Because the cancer has spread into lymph nodes, surgery is not the preferred means to combat it. We are meeting with a doctor next week to discuss alternate treatments to surgery. Chances for a total cure without surgery are 10-15% still we try to remain optimistic.

At this point, there is no way to predict how I may continue to be supportive to her. Frankly, my interests and hobbies are secondary. Absence from here may be obvious and hunting is doubtful. I will make it a point to keep you current however.

You have my prayers. I have lost 4 family members and 2 good friends to  cancer it's an ugly disease and a tough fight but it can be fought. Good luck and may God be with you and your lady.
