You going to the game?

 

Anybody here going??

 

I would have went if the Chiefs made it. Ticket prices are really down because of this weather. I am going to see Red Hot Chili Peppers in concert at Barclays Center in Brooklyn (The new Nets Stadium) on Saturday night.

I am totally amazed what the whole place looks like. Love walking down to work every day seeing this going on……poor New Jersey always takes a back seat.

 

Did you see the media busses yesterday. Had the teams on them, about 20 with police escorts!!!

few more pics atatched. Of course, Eric Berry (Chiefs) didn't show up. Something about his flight. Anyway, I walked the whole thing. It was really cold, but pretty cool. Lombardi trophy you can take pics with, free papa john pizza, football workout activities for kids, chance to kick a field goal, etc. ESPN live studio is set up on 34th. Everything is 100% free. I could have gotten Maurice Jones Drew and Desean Jackson autographs for free, but didnt feel like waiting in line.

heard on the news that nys actually paid 5 million in tax dollars towards Super Bowl activities so it's not "free"

I've never been to NYC.  Closest I've been in Kingston/Lake Katrine and that was 25 years ago.

 

I have never been to NYC either,but i go to Kingston every week or so.
