WNYBuckHunter
Bass Pro Shops, an outdoor retailer specializing in hunting, fishing and camping, will be opening a new “Outdoor World” store in Victor. The 145,000-square-foot store will be located at the intersection of the Thruway and Route 96. Bass Pro Shops Outdoor World will be the anchor store for Fishers Ridge -- a 96-acre mixed use development. Officials say the store has a tentative opening date of 2016. pewlodar
Auburn to Victor is less then one hour, maybe 30-40 mins? They are probably hope to retain as much market as possible in Rochester with Field and Stream and Cabelas.
WNYBuckHunter
Cabelas will gain a little business from Rochester, but its still almost an hour away. They would have been smartwr to go to Batavia and draw alot of business from Rochester and Buffalo. Bass Pro puts stores close together in lots of places. Take a peek at their location map... http://www.basspro.com/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/CFPageC?storeId=10151&appID=94&
Lawdwaz
Field & Stream, Bass Pro and Cabela's must not have heard about the Safe Act and our unending taxes here in NYS. They keep building, they MUST know something??

MACHINIST
I think a Cabelas would clean up in the Watertown area because of all the NY'ers and people coming across the border
Doc
So, is anybody looking to buy themselves one worthless beat-up Gander Mountain in Henrietta who so far can hardly compete even without competition. They will be forced to clean up their act or get out of town. I love it! Ain't competition great?
Nomad
I live in Webster and have never driven to Auburn to go to bps. Nobody I know has that I m aware of,we have talked about it never did it. This one will be 20 minutes away, and many in Monroe county hunt south, which puts it right In the path. Not to mention the poor saps who 's wives make them go to the "mall" with them now they have a place of refuge near by. HectorBuckBuster
I think that the Auburn Bass Pro Shop will be closing. The mall its in is dead.Alot os stores have closed up. If it was not for the Bass Pro that mall would be history.I can't see them having 3 stores all with in a 1 1/2 to 2 hour drive max.
