johnplav
Hunting partner wanted to experiment with scrapple, so we made a batch from the livers, hearts, and shanks from 2 does plus some venison sausage from last season. Actually smells pretty good. Froze 2 of them and the official taste test will happen Sat morning (if we’re not dining on fresh buck heart + eggs)

Set em and forget them cuz they take awhile.

Was good but I would go with traditional baked potato condiments next time.

We didn’t weigh the meat and probably made a wetter mixture than the recipe called for… but it’s not dry at all, and we’ll do it the same next time.
