Oooooh, yeah! Jenn used to bring Italian subs home on a Friday every now, and then! They aren’t as good as a few years ago unfortunately.  You from the area, or pass through a lot?  This sammich was off route 302, near exit 119 off 17.

how’s their pie’s?

My grandparents used to have a lake house on swinging Bridge. They sold it then a month later they drained the lake for years. Got out a a perfect time. And my parents used to have one on sacket lake. I used to go up all the time when I was little. Got many fond memories of summers up at the lake. And of course me and my dad would go to Giovanni's. They still have the Tekken arcade?

You know, I think we had this discussion once before actually! Small world, I am near Eldred, only time in Monticello is for Shoprite really, or walmart in a pinch, otherwise it’s Matamoras, PA for everything.  I have never heard of the arcade, I didn’t grow up here, grew up near Middletown/Howells

Dinner at Empellon.

Crab nachos with sea urchins. Quinoa salad with pumpkin seeds and squash. Salmon tartar with trout roe and gooseberries. Crispy pork belly (I just realize you can’t see the pork under the dressing on top). Corn ice cream taco. The “avocado”. It’s avocado ice cream shaped into an avocado on a bed of shaved lemon ice.
