Ding Ding Smoked Foal it was. Cooking it up shortly. For dinner I was so hungry I ate not only a horse but also a whale first is the horse then the minke whale. Gotta love Iceland! Both were exquisite!

My buddy just had carpaccio made of that in Quebec.   Said it was good. Not giving it away though.

Nope. Don't think you can get it in the US. I'm eating it here in Iceland. Picked it up at the supermarket

Horse meat can be damn fine table fare.

Zebra is at the top of the list for for any game meat I have ever taken.

Seal is OK; never tried Whale but maybe someday.

Whale was extremely delicious as was the horse. Both were really good! Wanted to get the puffin too but they ran out at the restaurant I was at.

Tried something tonight. Seared a small beef roast on the grill over heat, and then finished it low and slow on the no heat side. Baked potatoes and onions and peppers on the grill as well.
