Had a cam set up by my pond. Got a video that I thought was kinda cool. I've never seen a deer bury it's head so deep into the water before! LOL  Looks like she's eating vegetation off the bottom of the pond.

 

OK, the fawns playing with momma are pretty darn cute too! B)

She noticed something out of place (had cam mounted on a post in the open, as there was no tree), but she got over it, and accepted it. Those does and fawns are at the pond multiple times each day.

 

 

ah, makes sense. cant wait to have something like that to relax on.

do you have a stand over the pond? I've never hunted over a drinking area and always wondered how it would be.

I have a stand ~70 yards from the pond, but within clear view of it. I have never seen a deer at the pond during bow or gun season! They might be finding standing water to drink then, I don't know...
