Culvercreek hunt club
8 cents a round seems to be about where the market has settled. I can remember buying 22LR for 500/$13

Mr VJP
I bought lots of .22 LR years ago. I have enough to last the rest of my life, or I can sell it at a good profit. Ammo prices are nuts these days.
Borngeechee
My walmart has a 3 box per day limit, you suck!!HAHAMine does to but the associate was from another dept and didn't read the posted sign with the limit on it lol. Whenever I buy ammo there I always ask for more than the limit to see if they catch it.
philoshop
You must be young. I can remember getting Yellow Jackets for about $10. I remember when the Yellow Jackets first came out. Way too expensive for me! Almost a dollar a box!! Everything else was less than half that, and they didn't shoot very well anyway.

We'd shoot a brick a weekend

Pygmy
I bought a bunch of Remington Thunderbolts and Winchester Wildcats quite a few years back, when they would go on sale for $8.99 for a brick of 500. Not exactly match ammo, but they seem to work fine for plinking and squirrels, and they all function perfectly through my 1970 ish Ruger 10/22 and my S&W K 22..... I'll never shoot 'em all in my lifetime...
