ants
Maybe it was his pet turkey that he clubbed to death for craping on his tailgate……LOL!!! Edited May 29, 2015 by ants
Lawdwaz
Congrats!!! Appears to have some good spurs? +1 on the Spurs. On my phone I can enlarge the pic and they look like LH type Spurs. Maybe 1.25" or better I bet.

whaler
getting out tomorrow for the last hoorah. Was in the woods two weeks ago and only called in two hens where normally I had been hearing 5-10 gobblers on the roost. Anyone have any updates? Weather looks good so hopefully they will be active and the hens won't be as busy with the toms. By the way, this is in Westchester County. thanks! hope everyone is enjoying or has enjoyed their season.
maytom
Well, hate to admit it, but the Fat lady has sung her song for me. Went out this morning, and very much the same thing like the rest of the month. Silence like a church!!! This was the last time out for me, work calls from now on.
whaler
Afraid that was still the case. Still will get out and enjoy one last hunt before getting ready for whitetail season!
JALA RUT
Haven't been out since 5/17 between work and then being on Vacation with my wife in St Marteen since 5/22. Will be back home tomorrow night and should be home from the airport by about 1:00 AM and am planning to be out the final morning of the season. Hopefully they will be active. I worked one that last weekend I was out but he didn't come in close enough for a shot...hopefully one will still be in the area and looking for love. JALA RUT
LOL St Maarten!! I don't feel sorry for you one bit! LOL...Yeah, my wife laughs at me while we lay by the pool as I read "Live from the woods" posts. Some rum & cokes, strawberry daquireies, and bikinis do make missing turkey hunting a little bit easier! turkeyfeathers
Nary a turkey sound and the winds picking up. Far from what I had hoped for. Not looking like a second tag punched this year. Daughter is soundly sleeping next to me lol.

turkeyfeathers
I double gobbled followed by excited hen. Heck I wanted to gobble myself. Tried purrs, clucks and 3 note yelps. Pulling out all the stops now. Haven't heard nor even seen a woodpecker today. Fox squirrel is it
