I've heard yes and no, I have used it in heaters that have sat for a year or two without a problem.....if it's only getting burned in some of heater I would give it a go, don't think you can really damage much.

no, one of the longest shelf stable fuels it literally is liquid wax.

I am told it goes bad and I am told it is a dirty fuel anyway so it's fine. I was given a heater and a can full of fuel.

Nope its good, it doesn't seperate like gas as it doesn't have lubricant and anti build up chemo added to it, can burn a can that's 20 years old same as a brand new one

I have it in my garage, it has to be 30-40 years old. Burned just fine. The original owner of the house, which was built in 1940, left jars of it in a number of different rooms.

I have a station by my house and this probably doesn't help but if I'm correct is more than diesel. Last time I bought it, back in winter it was like $4 or more
