Cut some fresh tracks so I got on them. Soon it looks like a buck also following. Tracked for awhile until I hit property line. Busted out lone doe from golden rod. 40 yards , on the run with muzzle loader. Nah , ain't going to take that shot. Only deer in woods all day. Calling it a day and going dark to dark tomorrow Turkeys were everywhere scratching Looks like a flock of 12-15 birds. Shoot some brown woods goats would you people.

7 pointer down! Just got a text from my Dad who is hunting in 3A public land for the first time in 20-30 years. He shot the 7pt at 725am with his .243 at 60 yards. pass-through both shoulders, 30 yard blood trail. He saw the deer at 715am over 100 yards away through some brush so had to wait to make sure there were enough points. Pics to come!

Back on stand watching "the slope" good afternoon spot. Weather has just been outstanding this year! It's. 40 and no wind . As of 9 AM 4 doe were taken off the farm this morning.

Saw two fields with deer feeding in them around 3 as I got close this afternoon.
