nyantler
I would guess this buck to be 2 1/2 .. his antler beams extend just passed his eyes and not far enough onto his nose..and he looks like he is lacking the type of antler mass that most healthy 3 1/2 year olds would have ... and even though its true that bucks lose a good amount of body weight during the rut... his body structure is still a bit too sleak for a 3 1/2 year old especially where the neck meets the shoulder and chest.. but it is still entirely possible that he is 3 1/2... but my guess is no
WhiteTailBuckDeer
I'm gonna say 2 1/2. He will be a big boy next year. Are you sure hes a 10pt cant see any brow tines... Even when zoomed in. If he has small ones next year they should be a little bigger. Any more pics?
G-Man
Good 2 1-2 second pic tells story...
SplitG2
Great 2 1/2 or good 3 1/2.....either way good deer.
meatmuzzy
second pic shows a good sag in the belly. Im gonna say 3.
NYBowhunter
I'm gonna say 3.5 based upon a slight sway in his back and beginnings of a belly. I think a 2.5 year would be a little more sleek. If I based my opinion on rack only, that rack would be a 3.5 year old in my neck of the woods all day long.
TH41
Nice buck. I'm thinking 3.5. Some of the younger 2.5 to 3.5 bucks, i have gotten pics of over the years. Seem to disappear. My theory is because they are not the dominant buck in that area. they are like satelite bucks. A guy 4 miles away had pics of bucks I had. You could definitely tell they were the same deer. Cruisers to hopefully bruisers.
