Core Democrats be.......

Recommended Posts

The GOP is not my party, but I'm giving them a lot of credit for fighting off the constant attacks and smears coming from the Democrats, who wholeheartedly intend to destroy this president so he cannot implement the promises he made to the American people that will make America great again.

Know what I think the GOP does best?  Defending the 2nd Amendment.  It's just too bad that they even have to waste time doing that, thanks to constant attacks from Democrats.

The GOP does a lot of things well.  Everyone who supports them knows what they do well.

What I try to do is show people who support Democrats how wrong they are.

Instead of posting this nonsense why dont you post something positive about the Republican Party.

Theres a republican president.  Republican controlled senate.  Congress.

Why do you care about the democrats when all they have done is lose recently?

Don't forget about our boy Chuckie Schumer and his merry gang of obstructionist. Democrats who are doing everything in their power to keep Trump from assembling his cabinet and carrying out the needs of the country. These are people who put politics ahead of the welfare of the country. Yes, they are democrats. And that is why we care about the democrats.

And we have the roving gangs of burning and looting rioters who perform their acts of lawlessness in the name of democrats.

And then there is the major media with only one exception that is even willing to mention all those positive things about republicans that you want to hear about. It is not on the media agenda to let the American people see positive successful alternatives to their socialistic ideologies. Their party affiliations are aligned with the democrats such that they become the overwhelming mouthpiece of the democratic party.

Actually the post makes the brilliant point that the ones the left likes to portray as the heartless haters are really the recipients of more hate from the left than the libs want to admit to. That was clearly demonstrated best by the guy who was beaten in the street for voting for Trump. I think the article posted by Rattler was one of the most on-target pieces of concealed truth that puts the whole subject of just who the haters are in this country in a nice concise little package.

I know the libs really would just as soon that nobody would notice, and when somebody finally points it out, much effort is expended attempting to disregard it and to get others to send it back to the hidden shadows. But that doesn't make the dirty little truths contained in that article go away.

So why do we care about the democrats? ....... Because they are the glue that holds all these haters together.

You're kidding right? I guess you forgot all about the 8 years the republicans obstructed Obama at every chance they got and how THEY put their warped politics before the good of the country.

Exactly my point !   What have the dems won recently?  Posting a hack job propaganda peice is lame.  Post some legit stuff about what your party is doing positive.

The term "your party" is pretty vague considering I'm officially registered as "not associated with any party".

The GOP obstructed Obama because everything he did was geared towards turning the country into a third world hell hole.  The man hates everything that is good about America because he feels it is the cause of all of the world's problems.  His supporters feel the same way.

The Democrats are obstructing Trump because they don't want him to correct any of the damage Obama did, while trying to get back into power in the 2018 elections.

They're smear campaigns are aimed at retaking the house and senate, so they can stop the Make America Great Again movement.  They don't want to see America become great.  They want to see it destroyed.

Because there is absolutely NOTHING positive about the republican party

You seem to forget that it was the Republican Party that ended slavery in the US. And that fought against the racism of the Jim Crow era. And that fought against LBJ's ideas of 'voter plantations', (which have worked, BTW). And that welcomed Dr. Martin Luther King into their party.

Oh, and welcome back Uptown. I recognize you're writing style.

The 'collectivists' in our country have a problem with everyone not getting the same results from life. The 'individualists' realize that equality of results is far different from equality of opportunity. Put in place rules and a mindset that enforce equality of outcome rather than equality of opportunity and eventually you'll have neither. We've been watching this happen for over a hundred years now and the end-product has been some 200 million people killed by regimes who thought that equality of outcome is the way to go. Some people just don't learn.

You seem to forget that back during the civil war the republicans had what we now consider democratic ideologies and democrats had republican ideologies. It was some time after the civil war, that there was a shift in ideology. Not bashing the republican party as i'm a registered republican, but its not quite as you say for ending slavery and Jim Crow era.

Classical Liberal values are still held by modern Conservatives, myself included. There was never any shift in 'values' per se. The only shift that occurred was the appropriation by modern Democrats of the term 'liberal'. The concept of a shift in ideology was created to support that shift in terminology. A great deal has been written over the years about the fallacy of this supposed 'shift in ideology' between Democrats and Republicans. In the end, it never actually happened.

What 'EXACTLY' are liberal values and ideologies? Serious question! Is someone a liberal because they don't follow a totalitarian way of thinking? Are they a liberal because they listen to music or watch movies with gay or lesbian musicians or actors/actresses in them? Is someone a liberal if they have a gay or lesbian friend? Is someone a liberal just because they choose to not eat meat? Is someone a liberal if they watch sports even though the some on the right don't approve?

The definitions to words these days makes no common sense.

You cannot legislate certain things! Most of the right are trying to fight against socialism, imperialism, communism, and totalitarianism. Being told how to think, what our morals should be, and that someones ideas are not up to certain standards is all of the things I just mentioned.

You arent exactly correct on that. The original "Republican" party was called the "Democratic-Republican" party, and was started by Thomas Jefferson. Todays Democratic party has always been just that. The South was predominately Democrat back then, and the North was predominately Democratic-Republican, aka Republican. The modern Liberal core of the Democratic party took off during the Great Depression.

You might want to brush up a bit on your history. Just sayin
