BizCT
Driving home from train tonight and passed an open field of baseball fields where I always see deer. Thought I saw a white deer at a quick glance, so I turned around and went back and parked. Armed only with my iPhone 6 and in dress clothes I tried to stalk across the wide open field. Did my best to get pics, but it was definitely a piebald Fawn. First piebald I have ever seen in real life. Pretty cool. Definitely stood out like a sore thumb. turkeyfeathers
Nice. On our Ithaca trip every year we pass the old army depot. Years ago mama said look at the goats. Um no , piebald Supposedly hundreds of them there. So now every time we pass anything , goats , cows , deer etc. " look at the goats " emerges from daughter or I Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

ATbuckhunter
That's awesome! Had a doe that was almost completely white last season come right up next to my stand last day of archery. Landowner asked me not to shoot it, but It ended up being hit by a car a month later which really bummed me out. Seems like every couple years we have one by where I hunt.
Adkhunter1590
That's cool! I haven't seen one while hunting but I did see one in a field once in Illinois. My buddy shot a piebald spike horn years ago in Columbia county. It's mounted on his wall, it's a neat looking deer

Nomad
Many years ago in bow a had a 5pt one come in but no,shot . I told my friend who lives behind my woods, he said Bernie , the farmer next door did not want it shot. My first thought was well if it's on the farm I hunt I'll shoot it. Well I passed on it TWICE on opening day once at 30 yards broadside ! Never saw or heard about it again, wish I shot it , to be honest .
E J
Last winter I got a pic of a piebald (far left in the pic). I only laid eyes on it once when I took my dog for a walk. This past fall there was an albino I saw pretty frequently in a field on my way home not really too far from home. Pretty cool to see something a little different than the ordinary.
