growalot
It was a conversation starter... and Mr B got home and said, hands full of little brown bags...I went to Wegmans for olive oil and NA...140.00 later........That's another issue we have...Did a bunch of research and weggies,as I call them, is one of the few EVO suppliers in the area that I can find documented not to come from maphia controlled sources thus actually pure EVO. not blended. grampy
I've got an almost 13 year old grandson who is 6'1" and 200lbs. who is eating us out of house and home! Will need to shoot at least one more deer this year to keep up!
growalot
Quote ok. I thought it was about pre-hunting physicals and bellies turning. Mentioning pre-hunting physicals has a reason...not dragging deer. Though they are hitting rough hilly terrain sometimes, doing a lot of sitting( which has it's own issues) and the adrenaline rush can become a problem..So gentle reminders hurt no one.. Winter can be an inactive time for a lot of people. Guns, vests add hopefully carrying a turkey back to the vehicle and or house can be a bit much if ones health isn't what they thought. phade
Costco is one of the most admirable companies in the United States. A little familiarity with them will reveal that their EEs are OVERPAID compared to their competitors across the spectrum - cashiers can make 40-50k/yr. Their benefits are also over the average across the board for competitors. The CEO is very pro-EE and pro-customer culture to the point that they are aware it impacts their stock valuation and reduces profits - they publicly state "they don't care." They take items back out of customer service, realizing that it probably eats (pun intended) into their margins. And comparing Wegman's to Costco is valid. Both sell food. Costco ranked #15 on Fortune's Most Admired list for 2017. Both companies rank close to one another on the Best Companies to Work For list as well. It just goes to show basing one conversation and mixing in some questionably applicable experience can really twist the big picture from reality. Speaking as someone who works for a company that has made both lists - you literally have to pee excellence to even make the cut for discussion. growalot
LOL see what it brought out?... Though I thought I put enough LOL to to the point of obnoxious to get across ,I just found the conversation funny.I also said from appearance they looked like another Sams and then went too Sams and bought meats and breads and produces ect,ect.. There is some real loyalty to Costco, and other perspectives I see...A conversation starter that got some good conversation on food budgets at the least going.

BUT THEY LET A SLACKER LIKE YOU STILL WORK THERE. Not sure on the excellent peeing analogy either. I have climbed into a few stands where someone seemed to have missed the mark (not accusing you - just noting it). Perhaps you were talking about something other than accuracy. I really don't know how one grades peeing. lol
stoneam2006
It's not a bad conversion as I'm pretty sure many if not most of us could eat a little better...myself at the top of that list (but 2nd shift really kills me)Sent from my SM-N920V using Tapatalk

I run 3rd shift but my eating habits are terrible because of it. Most days I only eat once a day and it's usually a big serving of whatever. I'll gorge myself to make it through the next 24 hours. I get fast food way too often on my way into work because I ran out of time to make something at home before leaving. The whole no sleep thing gets to you as well...2.5 hours yesterday and 4 today. Most likely 4 or so tomorrow as well. Good thing for the weekend off, I need a day to sleep in
