I've got some growth on the old logging trail we worked on. Thank you Growie and Let em Grow for your incite, much appreciated!

Deer are already munching on it and it's just coming up. I'll have to check next week and maybe overseed a few bare spots. Upon entering the woods at dawn I had birds gobbling on roost. Pretty neat to hear mid summer. Some yelps and mostly clucks from the hens had the boys ripping. Managed a decent amount of black berries for the girls yogurt and cereal for breakfast when I get home. Busted out a big boy right after crossing the trout stream. Big body and horn is all I saw. Never put up his flag. Hope to get him on cam. Nothing better than starting your day off in the woods.

Wish I had a better pic of buck in third to last pic.
Didn't eat a single berry out there or on the way home. Girls got them all.
Hoping deer don't wipe it out plot before season. Pretty happy it's growing there. Ripped out a few ferns and sunlight is not the best. I'll lime and fertilize it soon I think. Funny I have cam on both ends. They captured same fawn at same time .
