Fletching and insert glue??

For years I used Bohning Fletch Tite glue for my feathers/vanes.  Probably 10 years ago I switched to Saunders NPV and the results have been excellent.

For gluing inserts into my Easton ACC's or Goldtip carbon shafts I'm using a Bohning hot melt stick glue that is blue colored.  It was recommended to me by Roy at Nick's I think but I'm not positive......

For years before that I used some other kind of hot melt glue that was a brownish yellow color.

I've been making fletching my own shafts for 30+ years and enjoy the heck out of it.  Actually, from about 1987-1999 I bought raw cedar shafts and finished them with stain, poly, dipping, cresting and then fletching/burning all the feathers, made from gobblers I killed. (yea, I bought some feathers too :) )

I know, too wordy.........

Goat Tuff...   In my opinion it does not get any better..   It is not cheap but you use a fraction of what you would normally use....

Loctite super gel works great but gorilla super gel seems to work just as well and is much cheaper by volume.  I use Easton epoxy for inserts but don't expect to remove them once dry.

Ive used the easton epoxy also and agree that it works very well... it does not last more than a year it seems.  Twice it cured inside the closed container.

I haven't had that issue.  Did you cap the two part syringe?  The cap doesn't fit perfect, but I would tape it on tight.  Lasted me for several years.  Just bought another recently.
