Maybe, but most people stay home and don't vote...trump got his people to vote...he'll get them to vote again....the dem will need a strong or well known candidate. ...they don't have one.  Bernie will b to old or in jail for bank fraud.  Crazy groper uncle joe isn't exciting..won't motivate people. ..oprah won't run...Elizabeth Warren is too stupid, coumo?...terry macauliffe?

Trump won the Electoral College by a huge margin. There was nothing "close" about it. Hillary had more of the popular vote because the coastal cities vote Democrat by default.

If you'd like to see elections without an Electoral College look no further than Canada, and how the Socialist agenda in that country has been advanced. "The tyranny of the cities". It's not much different than what we face in NYS.

I'm worried about voter apathy. If the economy hums along for 4 years, immigration get "fixed", people get comfy and start to be more concerned with PC than results.

Did you even look at the results in the states I mentioned??  If he lost PA and Michigan he would have not gotten to 270 electoral votes.  Some of you are unreal.  Facts could be staring you in the face, yet you see only what you want to see.  Although, I should know better and not expect much else from many of you, so go ahead and debate yourselves.

Trump's base is not the PC left, so no it won't do him any good at all to start caving to the idiotic demands from the left. It's the insistence on idiotic PC demands that got him elected in the first place. We're sick and tired of that crap and elected a President who won't tolerate it.

I didn't hire him because of who he is. I hired him because of who he's not. He's not a greasy-slick politician who says all the right things all the time. He gets stuff done.

But, Trump did win those two states. Your "if" doesn't count for anything. He won them because of a pro-America message and a helluva lot of hard work delivering that message to the states he knew he needed. I have no doubt he'll do it again in 2020.

It's quite possible that a strong Democrat candidate may have won, but they didn't have one in 2016 and I don't see one surfacing for 2020 either. Flyover country is never going to vote for a Socialist president.
