Taken on one of our last outings this year.I got my apprentice falconry permit this year and my sponsor and I trapped my redtail hawk on October 30'th and had her trained and hunting with me in a little over 4 weeks.

She learned to hunt with my buddies beagle and man what a team they were. As soon as she would hear him start sounding off - she would fly and get up in front of him and wait for him to flush the rabbit. He'd be a little upset everytime she'd catch the rabbit, I was able to catch him in mid bark telling her what he thought about her catching his Fuzzie.

We had a great year and I can't wait to do it all over again this fall.

Dave thanks for sharing the great pics,I have a cousin that has a Red Tail.It is awesome to watch,He is going to trap an Owl this year,or should I say he hopes to,no luck last year.But he has been approved to posses the owl so he is going for it.
