chas0218
I decided to take a quick ride into the woods with my son. We came across a wierd set of coyote tracks. Anyone have a idea of why the would look like this? It wasn't just this spot but the whole animal trail was like this. Bionic
2 legged upright walking coyote. Lol Could it be a bear, or coyote just walking cautiously, like sneaking around... Or limping....? Edited February 24, 2018 by Bionic

turkeyfeathers
Rather surprised you didn’t see any tracks climbing up a leaning tree along the way. Neat animals.
chas0218
Fisher If that's a Fischer it has huge feet. They are about the size of my 100lbs. weimaraner. I hit a coyote with my bow during bow season thought I hit him good maybe that is the one.Sent from my SM-G930V using Tapatalk

Now way in the world it is a coyote.

Sent from my SM-G930V using Tapatalk Looks as if the ground was slightly frozen and gave way underfoot giving the illusion of "huge feet". Here is a set of fisher tracks I found in fresh snow that gives a better look . Edited February 24, 2018 by Jdubs

Larry
Looks like a fisher when they run their feet will be side to side and front and hind will be on top of one another

Pygmy
Plenty around, Chas...I have not seen one in this area either, but have seen several local trail cam picts and talked to local trappers who have caught and released them.. A friend who lives on 415 near Campbell has been getting trailcam picts of a pair on his property this winter...
