Absolutely!  Our office brackets last year, was won by a 70 something, semi retired teacher! She has little, or no knowledge of NCAA basketball. She just randomly picked. The money collected goes in a fund, to help low income students with supplies or other needs. So most all staff get in on it. 

Perhaps, I'll get her to pick my bracket for this!!!!  My picks are always the pits!

Did do one with my oldest grandson. So maybe I do have a chance!      hehehe.......

Since Trae Young is my admin's nephew, I am really pulling for Oklahoma, but they are a true long shot.  Most teams figured out that if you shut him down, you can/will win.  Need some depth to win the big one!

Trae Young is an outstanding talent! And true that Oklahoma is a young team with not much depth on the bench. But on one of my brackets, I have them going to the sweet 16.  On the other, I have them losing to R.I. in the first round.

We'll see?

I disagree with the no knowledge winning thing. 16 seeds never beat 1 seeds so that’s 4pts more than some random grandma picking. Many more examples as well.

You don't need to know basketball to know which team is seeded higher.  Its stated on the brackets.  You definitely do not need to be an avid fan of NCAA basketball to win one of these.

Maybe in the small group leagues it’s different, but the ones I’m always in have 300-400 entries. Nobody gets lucky

FWIW, Grampys grandson and I have almost the same exact bracket...right up to the championship. He goes one way, I go another. Could be fun!

After last nights Virginia game, I'm out of it, along with Jared!  'Who da thunk it?'  Had em going to the championship game too!  Whoever picked them to go out early will do good for this years bracket! Good luck all!
