What type of deer is this

In a state park in  Italy. 

Just wondering what the exact scientific name  of this type of European deer is called .  

Anyone know ?

I believe it is a Red Deer

I am thinking  its a sub species of red deer but looks a little different then the ones I have seen in other parts of Europe

Most have a name

I know they hunt Roe and Red deer in Italy.
