Anyone see any early rut action?

Heading upstate to hunt this weekend and was wondering if anyone is seeing any type of rutting

Not in 7s, scrapes are active and rubs are showing up everywhere but does are not being harassed and deer have not been getting hit by cars yet.

Sunday I watched two bucks spar for half an hour in 8h.

Just saw a main frame 8 pushing high 120s by a farm on the way to work. I'd say it's getting close here in 8t.

I watched a spike harassing 4 doe in their bedding area Sunday morning. Unfortunately I figured out the travel route a bit late to make any moves to set up. If the wind is in my favor I'll sneak back over there and find a bush to cuddle with.

We are always late to this particular party by a couple of weeks it seems. All is calm in our woods now. No chasing or daylight action yet. 10 more days!

Had a buck encounter that led me to believe he was scent checking/eyeballin for does...he was set up on a ridge overlooking fresh scrapes

nothing moved him from that location even picking up on my local and knowing something was up...he just bedded for the 2.5 hours I was there.

seen bucks chase doe in a field a few days back.

I did see an 8 point chasing a doe... in 3M. Monday morning...

Not yet in 4-0. See mostly doe groups , haven't seen any bucks moving during daylight hours.

Was out in the woods today and saw my first rubs of the season in 7f.

It is starting to ramp up on Long Island.  Great time to be out hunting the next month!

Chasing has started here and scrape activity has dropped off.

On my way to Riverhead this morning from Huntington, saw 5 dead bucks along the way in the median starting at about exit 63.

I drive around some prime sections of 8h early am and evening and have seen nothing that even tells me it's getting close. Today I saw just 2 doe in the am and 2 lone bucks in the evening. First 2 I've seen in over a week.
