It's amazing that any deer exist at all in WNY with all the coyotes..........

It's everywhere.   I have 7 sits at different stands on my lease and have seen yotes 6 times.  And sometimes two at a time.

The last two Sunday’s I’ve seen a coyote in broad daylight in the same open field.

Haven’t seen , heard or got on cams all year

As I walked out of my garage this morning to head for my blind, a whole pack of yotes went crazy just down the street maybe 250 yards in a block of timber I can but haven’t hunted yet this year. I haven’t heard them in awhile, but I knew they had to be around. It’s hard to tell how many when they are all barking and yelping but it sounded like at least 10 different dogs.

It’s wild to hear them when they’re close. Kind of a rush..........

I love seeing them damn things! lol. 

Last year I watched a mother and her pups light up the air in front of me at 75 yards.. That was awesome to watch.. as they did that.. had two other packs start howling and barking as well. both about 1/2 mile away in separate directions

We definitely have them here and if I can tag a deer soon I plan on running some traps the week before gun season weather permitting.

I may run some whether I tag a deer or not.
