Hard to remember but I don’t think my wife was in a joking mood when she was in Labor.

There was prob an apology letter in the envelope and a blank credit card.

I was 2 hour's away at my hunting camp when my wife went into labor a week early with my first kid. I made it to the hospital with my dog riding shotgun just in time. She still likes to remind me of that from time to time.

Wife went into labor with  our first, during the night, the next morning I went to the academy ( it was Friday,test day ) and my Dad came over and took her to the hospital .

I shot the biggest buck I had ever taken  (at that time ) the morning my wife went into labor... I was just pulling back into the yard with deer when she called..
