I was graced with pygmys presence today on a not so calm lake. Pygmy and his buddy "handsome Howie" are quite a treat. Was a great time out with these boys, when I grow up I wanna be just like them. Boxed out !

Nice day of fishing it appears. I bet Pygmy hasn't had that much fish on his hands since Mabel's House of Horrors in 1961.

After the rifle range session we stopped at the local park to fish their pond and had a blast. Fished for just over 2 hours and between the three of us we caught at least 15 fish. Most being sunnies and bluegills. Caroline my youngest at 6 got the fish of the day a nice little bass. I’m also proud to say she mad the cast and set the hook all by herself. I did have to help bring it in only because of the large amount of weeds in front of us. Her little Barbie pole just didn’t have the power to bring it through.

Long couple days on Erie. Fished the chatauqua county con club tourney. Thursday-sunday. Prob caught a couple hundred walleye. Van Buren to buffalo. Found a good class of fish the first 2 days of tourney, but couldn't get em to the boat today. Lost 3 that would have really helped, but ended up 6th. Made some money, got a suntan, and got to see pygmy 2 days in a row !!! Not sure what was the best part....

On a serious note, Howie and I want to extend a big THANK YOU  for showing us a great time, and for the fish....You guys really have your s**t together, and you are great guys to fish with...Tell Steve Howie wants to marry him...

WE had a slow last morning yesterday...Tried down below first and struck out, so we came back and fished right out front and managed to scrape up four....No biggie..I still have more walleye filets in my freezer than I have ever had before..

I gotta rest up today..Four days in a boat on Erie is tough on us old fat guys...

P.S.....CONGRATS to you guys on finishing in the money  !!

Pretty sure when Steve saw that 30 pack in Howie's hands, he would have put a ring on his finger..... He knocked back 9 on the ride back to sturgeon, in 5'rs...lol

But so the whole forum knows, if you ever need a +2, Pygmy and Howie are where it's at, they are a great time for some old farts.

Yeah I saw that.  Amazing. I have seen a few caught off the pier in Sylvan beach in the spring. Some 4 footers but nothing this big.  And it took them 30 minutes to bring them up . Had one jump about 40 yards off the boat one time sounded like a person jumped in.

Fished the Ausable and the St Regis River, both are bathwater warm. Caught a few smallmouth and one brown. I love when they’re setup in front of boulder or little falls, and the rise “goes over”. If I’m describing that well you’ll know what I mean lol
