That’s clearly a 9.5 year old spike. On the downhill. That buck was every bit of 170” 2-3 years ago. Shoot him and have WNYBowHunter repair the rack for You

Getting kind of attached to him. Half the times we walk out the back door he’s within 50 yds of the back yard. Snorts up a storm. Must’ve snorted at me 20 times when I let the dog out this morning. Need to name him.

Based on some of your Buck pictures your target is probably the only ass he can kick. He will be in for a rude awaking when Oct./Nov. rolls around and gets stomped a couple of time. He will probably leave the are and head for 8h were he would be welcome with some of the runts I have seen this year.

One of the other young bucks we see a lot of decided to get in on the action. He only knocked the antlers off and moseyed away. The regular spike came in to finish it off.

This is about 60 yds from our deck, down into a little gully so I can’t see it from the house. It’s the third target in my rinky dink 3D course. I should put a better camera there.

The spike says , Steve . The six says,  yeah Jeff . Steve you gotta come check out this crazy dude that’s a total trip, he just stands there and he lets you knock his head off. No way Jeff his head falls right off ? Yep sure does Steve , totally gnarly..

He’s a bit fixated. Came back mid day today and kicked the head around for a few minutes too.
