Is anyone near friendship,NY ?

I live in central NY but might relocate to western NY. Does  anyone know that area around Friendship and how rural it is? I live in the country now,and the biggest city close by is 25 mins away and only has 30000 residents. Albany is 1.30 hrs,Syracuse is 1.45 and Binghamton is 1.10. So i am in the middle of nothing. Is it flat out there or some rolling hills? I see Alleghany Forest isn't far from there..

Friendship is very  rural.

Going off memory it’s very rural. Your closest city will be Buffalo at an hour and a half away. Not far from the PA border either. The area should be pretty hilly with some steep terrain thrown in for fun. But the bright side is you can be apart of the WNY forum contingent which means frequent visits to the GOAT!

Hey buddy, my camp is in Friendship.  Been there 12 years.  Lots of deer, not too steep.  Great hunting.

 Next town over from me. Rural,  olean, is closest city, hornell, bradford oa, rochester buffalo all within 1.5 hours

ah Friendship, NY; the place where I got my first speeding ticket for going 7mph over the speed limit on 86 only to then watch the cop pull away and hit a deer less than 300 yards down the road. Felt like sweet justice.

Takes me 2 hours to get to my spot from the area of the acedemy.
