I just ordered an aging kit for my bow buck. It'll be interesting to see the results. We're guessing he was between 3.5-5.5. I never liked the visual molar wear, it's too generic and frankly too easy to twist an extra year up or down. Just wondering if anyone here has used cementum annuli aging before and how accurate you thought it was? I have no history with my buck so...

He was aged at 4.5. i was pretty sure he was 3.5, with the slight possibility of being 4.5.

Not every deer killed on this forum can be 1.5 to 3.5, there are more 4.5’s than we think. Based on my hunting land neighbor’s prior years pics, this buck was 4.5 at the time of the photo. His rack isn’t anything special, so most people on this forum would say he’s a 2.5

Not if this buck because it was shown to me in person the prior years. But I do have an 8pt with a weak left side G3 with 3 years of pics. Not sure if he ever cracked 100”. Below 2018 was final year on camera
