One little fawn for it being 9/17

This doe must have been bred much later than the other does around, causing her to drop late. This fawn is much smaller than all the others that I've gotten pics of recently. Scary to think how small it is and season starts in 24 days!

A few years ago my frinds father took a tiny deer in muzzloader it weighed under 25 lbs field dressed... it would of never made it thru the winter. said it was the best 4 sandwiches he ever had!! lol

I saw one about that size in Callicoon last week . We were driving back to Villa Roma and I caught the glint of eyes at night , slowed down and the fawn laying was next to the road . Yes it was alive and raised it's head up to look .
