the blur
I just ate V. RIBS, and to be honest, I don't like them. It has that nasty membrane on them, and they are greasy, and the grease is different than other ribs I am used to eating. Like it was a very fine grease, hard to wash off. took 40 minutes in a pressure cooker to cook.... I'm not sure what to do with the rest of the ribs...... anyone actually like them ? WNYBuckHunter
I cut the meat off of the ribs and ground it up. I dont think theres enough meat on a deer's rib cage to bother with any other way.
steve863
In my opinion it's a complete waste of time to fuss with deer ribs like you would with ribs from other animals. Cut out the little meat there is and grind it up. That's all it's really good for.

JimmyDaSavage
I had deer ribs once and was so excited expecting them to be just as good as when I get them out. I was definitely wrong lol.

2GRIT
Too much fat usually. Stay away from them unless you're one of those that can eat anything!!!!
Deerthug
Try leaving some blackstrap attached next time. Marinate them and grill them. They taste like lamb chops. Also you need to remove the silvery membrane when processing it.
