Opening day, my .308 and watching a big patch of field and woods. After that I will probably be coming the side of the hill dragging the Mossberg around. I will take that gun in the woods every single day of the week over a rifle with a scope. It's a murdering machine under 100 yards.

Well opening day i will be hunting shotgun 16 guage mossberg bolt action.But i will be using my 270 when i go to a rifle area.I beleve the 270 shoots the flattest and most acc,thats my opin.As allways goodhunting

Yea 220 grain is pretty powerfull,I know guys that hunt bear with 165 grain and stop them dead in there tracks!

My rifle is a Marlin 30-30 but have killed more deer with my 16 gauge bolt action JC Higgens shotgun. It shoots as good as most rifles.

You cant remove a 1/2 nut with a 9/16 socket. You can use a cresent wrench on both but it sometimes gets ugly. Thats why I have more than one gun in my locker.

Remington 700 bdl with detachable mag in .280rem with 140gr Remington core lokt has not ever failed me yet dont think it ever will i trust my life with this rifle

I hunt in Madison County and we have some spots where you can reach out to 250-300 yards. So i use my 300 Ultra Mag, the deer never go more than 10 yards and typically 1 yard straight down with this beast.

_{.444 Marlin IN my experiance it is the best caliber available for woods hunting out to 200 yards. Anchors the deer right there every time and flat enough trajectory for 200 yard shots. I've use34d other cals but none have perfformed as the .444 does.}
