New tower

Just picked up this bad boy. Starting on the platform this weekend. Ill probably be doing more napping than hunting hahaha.

Nice. The last few years I've gotten so I mostly gun hunt out of elevated blinds. Last year I shot a coyote on one hunt and a doe on another while my son was sitting in the blind with me.

My wife cant take the cold at all (bad hand injury) this gives us a place to go. She went out with me a few times last year in another tower i have thats not totally enclosed. Not to mention if the hunting is slow........wont need a heater.

Oh man me too. Already playing out scenarios in my head. If its -5 opener like last year ill be ready. Ill have to put 10 coats of rain-x on the windows to help with fog.

I got the 4 sided one a lil on small side 5 should be better be careful if the windows are up and you got heat on and its really cold the condinsation will freeze the window shut ...tuff opening them with out a loud poping noise

well i just left the two open that i had the best chance of shooting out of going to hit with a w-d40 this yr before season.....

Platform is built for the new blind. Next weekend ill put the blind up. I built the platform oversized so i can set the blind up right in place.

Blind is up. Just need to build steps and its ready to roll.

The blind looks tiny compared to the size of the platform . What are the dimensions of the blind ?

I would love one of these. Dry, heated, can use the pump gun...

Its 72x75. Platform is 8x8 gives me room around the blind to i can do maintenance on it without dragging a ladder out there. I also built the blind in place so i needed the space. Mostly just camera angle.

Smart of you to do that . Easy to do maintenance and you can tweak the angle of the blind to suit your needs .

Thats just what i did. Put the door to the blind in a corner so it has more of a space to get in and out. Sometimes im half asleep on those morning hunts.
