A Federal Judge ordered the removal of a mural containing a school prayer that begins with "Our Heavenly Father" and ends with "Amen", in a HS in Rhode Island claiming that it violates the establishment clause of the first amendment. This mural has been up since 1963 and NOW because one 16 y.o. kid notices it and claims in infringes upon her first amendment rights they are forced to remove it.

Are you serious?? They allow Muslims to pray in school and Jewish students to wear Yamakas in school, so why couldn't they leave this mural alone? :fie:

This is not our country anymore. Our politicians have given it to all the minority and foreigners who arrive here whether legally or illegally. They have the rights we use to have. WE just pay the bill.

This country is so far gone it's irreversible. I seen somewhere not sure how factual it is that there are more people on a form of assistance than people contributing (aka taxpayers). If that is only 50% true we are in bad shape. Hopefully it's coming to a revolution. This country needs a fresh start just as it did in 1776.

this country no longer evolves around Christianity... things are so far gone its scary. Look on the bright side, the rich keep getting the tax breaks and the poor keep getting the help from this country through tax paying middle class citizens while the middle class slowly gets diminished...

Guys just send the GOV"T all your money and they will take care of every freeloader they can find. And you will get nothing in return. OBAMA say's just pay your fair share, well what about the 51% who pay no Federal income tax? What's their fair share????????????Sorry they are the people who voted for him!!!!!!!!! My personal view is if you don't pay federal taxes you should not be able to vote. JMHO I know some may disagree.

The government wants to ban all religion from this country because it is setting itself up as the God that rules all of it's citizens. It wants the type of total power without question that the faithful give to God.

I disagree with the removal as well but...

Who is 'Our'? This country was formed by immigrants. You must be Native American? Just pointing out what many forget. You might be right though. History proves immigrants/foreigners are capable of removing 'natives' and claiming as their own. Shoot, even Texas was truely Mexico at one point. Now they are treated like they never belonged.

The creators of this nation knew that power corrupts and even wrote about refreshing the government should the need arise. This nation was created by gunowners and hunters, don't ever let anyone around you forget that. The liberals and supporters of the King didn't create this nation, it was gunowners. One day gunowners will save it from those who look to destroy it. Sadly we trust our citizens to protect our nation but not themselves. Check this out
