Nomad
He was here making a low budget movie many years back , and I escorted him anywhere he went , sat outside his RV on the set and so on . Interesting experience , I hang out with his main security guy, his cousin Tracy, a great guy ,a fellow deer Hunter , who died of a heart attack a few deer seasons later . Most of the filming was at an old church ,in a very bad area of the city,I was often shagging drug dealers out of the set ,one night a guy was shot to death and another chopped up with a machete about 50 yards from his trailer . I was always armed with my Glock 40 and a 3 D mag lite . Oh and his Victoria’s Secret model wife was very nice ..... I also taught him how to use the Colt Gov. Model 45 used in the movie ,although I believe that scene was cut . Oh the movies name is After Image. The cloth stickers that i put on the CDs are used to ID you , the lower left one was from a concert a year later at Darian Lake , I went as his guest , that sticker allowed me go anywhere , the autographs on it are from a couple young female backup singers , that I ate dinner with in the caterers tent . I just came across these CDs after many years and thought I’d share .

grampy
Wow! Great memories, and cool experiences! I've heard that he is a down to earth guy. Not too common in performers today. I've always enjoyed listening to John's songs. Rain On The Scarecrow, is my favorite.
