I am pretty sure the only part that is actually dated in the 1800's is the stone portion. The rest has been added on and the whole house has been redone. As far as the decor...to each their own I guess.

The previous owner was a Dr. who made a good hunk of change when he sold off.

My head almost explodes when I see the prices being paid these days. I'm always on the fence about selling my place because I know it will never be possible for me to have the same again in my lifetime. 

When I see what homes with big acreage bring though it is awfully tempting.

Its still stupid around here in N Dutchess.

I built and installed a kitchen recent in the village of Rhinebeck. New renovation throughout; but not near as crazy high end often I am involved with, but nice work.

Asking $1,995,000

Sold in a week for $ 300,000 more then asking.

Cabins , ponds roads throughout plus the rangers house.. if everyone chipped in would make a nice hunting camp

The scouts are liquidating all the camps to pay all the lawsuits......crazy!

I think he means the girl or boy scouts? I saw this summer that The girl scouts were selling their camp on Candlewood lake for $9.25M. It's 86 acres
