Yup. Big reason why I am moving across the line. I have coworkers paying $92K in taxes in westchester. It's crazy. If I got this CT house in my current town it would be $35-$40K.

Thanks. I used to go there as a kid in the 90's when it first opened. the chocolate milk was amazing haha. Now i'll be under 10min. away.

Yes. Smaller than my current, but much newer (2016) with patio, built-in kitchen, etc.

$535 for General Hunting + $235 for Bowhunting = $770 for Lifetime. 

As a non-rez it's $100 general + $30 bowhunting = $130 per year. So 6 years to break even?

I'm moving from Dutchess to CT. Bought a house in Cornwall. Need to study up on the hunting regs but a Sep 15th opener is nice!

Biz,you need to go remote and buy here .You would have actual nice size mature bucks ,and some good property to hunt ,with a house on it .

Congrats! I hunted CT in 2013. I passed up a 3pt in velvet and regret it. I checked the regs back in the summer looks like 9/15 to 12/31 for 2 bucks. then January is 3rd buck season. This is zone 11 and 12. Sunday hunting finally got passed a few years ago only on private land. same with baiting in zones 11 and 12 private only. 5 toms per spring, etc. i didn't look into does but i'm sure it's unlimited or at least a bunch allowed. the rest of the stats might be a little different though.

I’ve done lots of work in that area, know some public land spots.

Yep and the standard $10 a year doe tag fee. Doe tags use to be lifetime to but I didn’t get in early enough.
