Couple points and I notice you didn’t play the follow up by the others .

BL WAS in Afghanistan , he fled , the operatives that were doing his dirty work were also there , thousands were killed , money cut off etc…

It needed to be done after 911

Now I don’t think anyone wanted to see us not leave Afghanistan , but we needed to have a plan in place , which we did , but Biden didn’t follow the plan nor did he listen to his own generals !

Biden turned his back on our allies and showed all our allies we can’t be trusted !

Let Trump ask his doctors in a live pandemic press conference about injecting disinfectants. Lysol and other companies were forced to put out warnings to stop people from heeding the president’s live mumbling. Correct, I am and if you watched the entire press conference like I did and were objective, you would arrive at the same conclusion.  Your hatred for the former President impairs youre ability to think objectively in regards to any issues surrounding him. I believe you know this yourself VH.

And your stating that we haven't had an attack in the last 20 years because we are in Afghanistan. And that country is a very small part of it.  Iran is the head of the snake for funding and these groups move as need be. 

Also what changes have we affected. In 48 hours it's the same ole same ole.  Your telling me we couldn't have spent a trillion dollars and 2300 American lives better by bolstering our own military and security and not be better for it then pissing it into that hole?  To get what? 

I don't know why you think that being in Afghanistan was such an effective move as it has had so little effect on them or us or the region. We easily could have been out of there in a year after we pounded them for a bit, we didn't need to stay after for any reason.  We would use the same actions we used in those 20 years to successfully defend ourselves against Iran, Iraq, Syrian, etc terrorist groups.  911 was a one shot deal that got by us while we were asleep at the wheel. 

No reason to keep arguing with you we will have to just disagree on this one.  Although I bet we agree on 90% of other things and both are probably voting about the same way.

Is that your psychological evaluation? I think we both know you're a bit out of your depth here. I tend not to reside much in "hatred." If you must, you can reduce my feelings for Trump to pity. He was a sad clown who took on a job for which he was woefully unprepared. That's old news... perhaps more interesting today is the army of clowns the insist on being his apologist and how the GOP is trying hard to exploit this demographic but instead they're empowering them. This too is pitiful.

He was the leader of the free world and that rambling video clip captures the utter failure in leadership over his 4 years in office perfectly well. Well every news outlet has seen ratings fall thru the floor.  This gives them a chance to try to be relevant and get some viewership back.  

I have argued all along that many news outlets may not like Trump but they also love him.  And if they can poke and cause him to get fired up and have controversy it drives up ratings and there pockets. Never think that the old mighty dollar doesn't drive these media companies even more than politics.  Controversy brings cash.  Just like we watch the weather when a storm is coming in and no one cares when it's 70 and sunny.  Bring the press a good story with meat on the bone for ratings and what or who's for dinner doesnt matter.

So, Im a little confused by your remarks here. You appear to be very anti interventionist ( I think) , at least in terms of the Afghan operation, yet you support ops in 3 other theaters? Trump tamed Syria ,btw, remember?  I may be inlined to agree with you on this, but again, dont follow your logic.

Here's a summary: Trump was a sad clown and everyone is glad he's gone. America's appetite for engaging in Afghanistan ran out long ago. Our withdrawal sucked. Our intelligence assessment of an 18 month horizon for Taliban takeover turned out to be a handful of days. Well-equipped and presumably well-trained Afghan army did not resist. This intelligence and execution failure will be investigated and hopefully corrected.
