Upstate NY Activity?

Anyone have feelings on the rut yet? I have been out every morning and seeing bucks now broken apart. Super early sightings 7-9am but nothing roaming after early morn. Anyone have feeling on when peak rut will start?

Saw an incredible 9 but couldn't get into range. Did have antlers to rattle. anyone else rattling yet also?

I think the switch is flipping right now here in 4F. Saw a nice one on my way to work,late this morning at 8 a.m. out in the open sniffing doe hang outs.

From now until middle to late November, is the best time to see bucks up and moving.

Bucks are seeking and making sign, calling working and doe in heat scent worked Monday pulling in two bucks. Just starting to see roadkills. No real chasing yet but early does should come in the next 7 days,

Most deer movement I've seen in the last week is mid day. That's based on driving around on my job and observing, and trail cams n hunting. I watched 3 bucks chasing does Saturday around noon, in the rain while putting up a new stand.

Also had a mature buck show up on a trail cam set up in open woods. This was right at noon.

No chasing yet in the Bristol 8N area, doe groups still out in the fields. 

Not a single truck parked at the state land either

The rut is on in region 4 bucks chasing doe everywhere atleast around me anyways.
