Even if you tell people where to hunt most are to lazy to make it much farther then when they reach for thier wallet at R.E.I. in soho. I am familiar with at least 7 large statelands in centeral ny. I see about 3 to 5 guys a year on each piece with as much as 5000 acres per spot. Go public!!!

I LovedRemington. In the last 3 years I have bought numerous products from them that are very poor quality from cantiilever gun barrel that is off center and boxes of ammo that the primers do not discharge

It could possible that deer lose more weight in certain situation with more does, but it does not change when the deer is heaviest.

No matter where deer live or what they eat, thier whole life revolves around procreation. Deer eat the highest quality food source they can safely eat. The only time they leave this eating pattern is during rut. When the lose upwards of 20 to 30 percent of thier body weight. It is safe to say, numerous scientists have shown, the peak health and highest weight of whitetail deer is right up until rut.

Its been a slow early season for me too. Only one or two bangers.... i have enjoyed all the places, people, and animals I've gotten to spend time with, and id like to think I'm 1 step closer to a great fall and winter duck and goose seasons.

Your spread looks like geese to me. Idk if it matters but I face most of my decoys into the wind and leave my centuries on the ends looking away from the majority of my birds and blind. Did you see anything? Gather any Intel for the 24th when its ducks and geese?

Don't buy the hype... Rememeber guys are doing it dirty with the recurves and longbows. Practice, keep improving, get the scores up.

I have found that I tell everyone anything I can tell them to make them better hunters including where to hunt and i have had a very prosperous hunting career. Its not always about what you know as much as what you are willing to do. I approach hunting as hiking with the possibility of a bonus meal or two. Just have fun and change it up if its not working. Its easy to get discouraged but give it a few seasons.

Food sources early oak nuts beach nuts, browse and alfalfa, doe bedding in 3 weeks, food sources after November 20. Doe bedding December 5 through 15, food sources after dec 15.

I think that number refers to the thickness and stiffness. Its the magic arrow weight, you should be just fine.but your going to want to reset your pins possibly

I agree! I've seen deer be driven by dogs. Usually the healthy ones get away

I swear by Sherwin Williams. Any deck treatment they suggest in the color or shade you want. They have the best options with the best quality. I use them weekly
