Bear down!!!! Did you bait yourself or go with a service ? I got fortunate enough to go 3 years ago with pb guide services. They were awesome.

Fresh cut Oats and wheat, and some standing clover are really good right now. Also waiting for them on the roost can work because its shooting til 30 minutes after dusk.

Warm weather made it tough. Gotta be in it to win it. 3 friends and I were fortunate to get a few on the ground.

I listen to the sounds of the animal on YouTube or wherever you can find them, and practice with my 3 tone flextone calls, or even just my mouth. My call can be used for fawns bucks.and does, Its about pressure and the way the bend it. Better then any thing in a can..... except seltzer water. There are more expensive tubes but this one works for me.

I believe so.... always call you local dec officer. I have always had great reception and gotten lots of help from them.

I found a dead buck in the road and rubbed myself down with tarsal.... my brother and I hunted all day. 2 prime spots. I was attacked by 5 different bucks between 1pm and 430 when this buck finally came into the scrape line. I had 4 smaller deer in range. It was worth the wait. -
Scout it out!!! Boots tracks are deer killing facts!!! Keep grinding and stateland will pay dividends.

You see everyone........ no more excuses!!!! However there are still plenty of them to go around. I bet you got birds stacked up out there. I want to get to the potholes in the dakotas, but my guess your siting in the best part of this flyway? I read plenty about waterfoul at the turn of the century and punt guns on the island.... seemed terribly effective.

Both ways will work. Or switch tactics all day. Plus throw some sneak attacks and jump a swamp or two in the afternoons.. I sit on the roost in the evenings and find the largest feeds coming in at night. Once I find the largest feed I come back at dawn and follow them as they fly out to feed in the ag.... after they land you start knocking on doors or looking for close public land to set up traffic scenario.

What towns? Like Downsville and cannonsville? I know there are some restrictions on those waters for fishing and boat motors

Let's bang em out! There's probably a way to waterfoul hunt and still preserve your treestands. Its easy to get em in this time of year!!!!

No ones getting aftter the geese next week? Perfect way for me to stay away from my game cameras. Birds are really moving finally.

Couple lemons ready for the ruby and max show. Beagles from a proven hunting line. Not really the smart, focused, relaxed, house pet, more like the wired and fired up chasing hounds!!!!

Waterworks, its the city water plant. It is a relatively large facility and I hear of some nice sheds found on the property every year. The deer have deformed hooves and look unhealthy at times.

I'm on my second pair of lacrosse boots. I would say anything that lasts ten years of hard abuse is a great purchase. My boots usually only make it through 3 or 4 seasons. I keep cold weather leather pack boots, and rubber boots. I wear them out.
